Event Description:

SONG AND DANCE This event is meant to celebrate the lives of native Maasai women from Kajiado district ,Southern Rift Valley of Kenya. through the song and dance, the plight, success and struggles of rural women artists are brought into light. These women will be literally asked to compose songs to celebrate women’s achievements and place in the society as instruments of change, development and civilization.

We also hope that in the near future, when we find more resources, we hope that our women will be able to sustain livelihoods through sale of handicrafts, song and Dance in the USA.

We are also in the process of producing a short film documentary that showcase the lives of these women.
